Pea-nnouncement Time!

It's that time again!

The retreat is coming up and we've been busy peas planning and preparing for April. While we are super excited about this next retreat and all that it holds for you we are sad to announce that Lisa S. won't be able to host future retreats with us due to some health issues. We know this was a hard decision for her as she really enjoyed being involved with planning and hosting. She still plans on retreating with us and hopefully will continue to teach her cute classes when the opportunity arises. She has contributed some great ideas for the next retreat and we really appreciate all of her input and help thus far.

As always we have some spoilers for the April theme and prizes to give the winners. It's a two part theme which we'll give also in two parts.

Finally, I’m not sure how many of you have decided to follow the 52 weeks of sketches I posted but if you are on the fence…Michelle and I have decide to hold a little contest this year. For each time that you complete a month’s worth of sketches we will enter you in a drawing for a prize. I will create folders on the yahoo group and all you have to do is upload your layout for each week by the last day of that month. Michelle and I will post ours too just be sure and post in your description your name, the month and the week otherwise we won't be able to keep track. This is open to all members of the group. Double bonus - the girls at 52 weeks are also giving away goodies so head over there and check it out!

Family Tradition Share / Blog Candy

The holiday season is approaching FAST! Family traditions are important and special no matter how big or small. We spend a lot of time scrapbooking special events & memories and here on the LMN-O-Pea blog we are really interested in hearing some of your family's holiday traditions!

So….share with us! What makes the holidays special to you and your family? What is it that your family does every year and without it the holidays just wouldn't be the same? Do you bake cookies as a family, is it a special recipe that Grandma or Mom makes only during the holidays? Or..maybe its something totally different. We would love to hear your stories so respond to us here on the blog...post..post..post away :-)

Also by responding on our blog only (not the yahoo group) you qualify for a really cute giveaway! Each person that shares a family tradition with us will be eligible to win!! A winner will be chosen via the integer generator and announced the week of December 1st. The winner will receive a small gift in the mail from LMN-O-Pea!

Future Retreat Update

Much to our delight everyone is having such a good time at the retreats, those of you who have expressed interest in the April retreat exceeds our usual capacity. Originally, we gave all our past retreaters a week to sign up before we opened the retreat to the public. Given the overwhelming response and new friends who want to be included we feel it best to switch to a true first come first served policy.

We have reconfigured the room to allow for additional retreaters. For those of you who have attended in the past, don't be alarmed. We aren't taking any space away, you will still have your regular crop space and the same amount of room between tables.

Sign ups for April are open and you are free to sign up anytime you like. In order to hold your spot you must complete your registration form, email it back to us and pay your deposit of $50. Your second payment will not be due until Feb 15th, third & final payment due on March 15th. After we have received your registration form and deposit you will receive a confirmation email that you are registered. Once the retreat is full, the contact list we set up will become our waiting list. The registration form has been posted on the yahoo group. Paypal buttons for each retreat are here on the blog for your convenience. If you prefer to mail your payment; please contact us for payment information and if you would like to be on the contact list for April or October of 2009, please email us ASAP so we can add your name.
